Your Vintage Blooms arrangement is a bespoke piece of botanical art. Unlike fresh flowers, these high-fidelity silk and “real-touch” blooms require no water, but a small amount of care will ensure they remain “visually perfect” for years to come.

Floral and Foliage Care

• Dusting: To keep petals vibrant, gently wipe them with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth once a month. For more intricate arrangements, a hairdryer on its coolest and lowest setting is an excellent way to remove dust from hard-to-reach areas.
• Avoid Moisture: Never add water to your vase or mist the petals. Moisture can damage the delicate dyes and structural integrity of the silk stems.
• Sunlight Protection: While our flowers thrive in dark corners where real plants won’t, prolonged exposure to direct, harsh afternoon sunlight can eventually cause subtle fading. We recommend positioning them away from south-facing windows to preserve their deep, rich colours.
• Refluffing: Over time or after moving, you may wish to “re-style” your arrangement. Most stems are wired; gently bend and shape them to your desired silhouette to maintain that “just-arranged” look Nicola created for you.

Ceramic Vase Care

• Cleaning: Our curated ceramic vases should be cleaned with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive sponges or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch the glaze or matte finish.
• Water-Free Zone: Please note that because these are designed for faux arrangements, the vases may not always be 100% watertight. Do not attempt to use them for fresh flowers with water unless the individual product specs explicitly state they are waterproof.
• Surface Protection: Most of our ceramics feature protective pads on the base, but we always recommend placing your arrangement on a coaster or felt mat if positioned on delicate or polished antique furniture.
